CL - Hard chrome HNF: Hard chrome process with a very high efficiency.

CL-HNF is a fluoride free hard chrome process with an extreme high efficiency.

The cathodic current efficiency lies between 24-26%. The process can be operated with platinised titanium anodes as well as with Lead alloyed anodes.

Electrolyte composition

Chromic acid: 240 - 300 g/l optimum: 280 g/l
Sulphate: 1.25-1.80%
Catalyst HNF: 40 ml/l

The sulphate content is adjusted and corrected with sulphuric acid (chem. pure)
