The CL Tin/Cobalt white is a decorative electroplating process. The surfaces obtain a uniform surface with a similar platinum-chrome appearance.

The platinum-chrome similarly colour appearance of CL Tin/Cobalt white opens new possibilities for product designers. This process finds for example large interest by leading automobile manufacturers. The tin/cobalt layer is normally deposited on a bright nickel- or bright copper layer. The fluoride-free operated process can be used in the barrel as well as for rack application. The characteristics of CL Tin/Cobalt:

  1. The good bath stability guarantees a constant uniform colour deposit.
  2. It offers a superior corrosion resistance in comparison to other Tin/Cobalt alloys.
  3. Excellent wipe resistance.
